Fantastical animal illustrations inspired by Méxican folk art Alebrijes.
I visited an atelier of one of the pioneers of this craft in Oaxaca state, a small village called Arrazola. And they are still crafting everything in hand, one piece by one piece. I was amazed by their craftsmanship, this craft should be kept forever. Their flood of colours and zentangle-ish intricate patterns are just mesmerizing!
